Emilie Bevan (fl 1890s) was a theatre performer and company manager.
Also referred to as Emily Bevan on occasion, she was the sister of the 19th century actress Affey Bevan (fl 1880s-1890s)

Biography
Though little much has been found about her so far, she is described by D.C. Boonzaier (1923) as a performer of "deeper roles" and she seems to have been an active performer and company manager in various places during the late 1880s and the 1890s.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
A member of the Chambers Theatrical Company in Cape Town in 1890, for which she appeared in plays such as The Bells of Haslemere and In the Ranks.
In 1892 she formed her own company, the Emilie Bevan Comedy Company and leased the Vaudeville Theatre in Cape Town for a very ambitious season of three and a half months, in which no less than 19 plays were put on.
She made two return vists, one in 1893 and another in 1894, in the latter instance, performing in the Opera House, Cape Town for the first and last time.
