Emilie Bevan (fl 1890s) was a theatre performer and company manager.

Also referred to as Emily Bevan on occasion, she was the sister of the 19th century actress Affey Bevan (fl 1880s-1890s)

Biography

Though little much has been found about her so far, she is described by D.C. Boonzaier (1923) as a performer of "deeper roles" and seems to have been an active performer in various places during the late 1880s and the 1890s.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A member of the Chambers Theatrical Company in Cape Town in 1890, for which she appeared in plays such as The Bells of Haslemere and In the Ranks.
