Elliot Makhaya (19**-circa 2006). A theatre critic.

He wrote for the The World and Johannesburg Post in the 1970s and 1980s. In later years he was Entertainment Editor of The Sowetan.

He reviewed Too Late by Gibson Kente for The World in 1975 and interviewed Sam Mhangwane (1975).

Awards, etc.

He was honoured posthumously at the Siyabakhumbula Tribute Awards in June 2011.
