Performance history in South Africa

1970: Directed by Brink for PACOFS in 1970, starring Jan Prinsloo, Annie Basson, Johan Botha, Louise Mollett-Prinsloo.

1971: Directed by Carel Trichardt for TRUK Toneel, 1971. The cast: Tine Balder (Julia}, Sandra Prinsloo (Sonja), Schalk Jacobsz (George), Louis van Niekerk (Dawid), Marius Weyers (Frans). Decor by Chris van den Berg.

1976: SWAPAC Drama presented the English version, called Elsewhere Fine and Warm directed by Johan Botha in 1976. The cast: Lida Botha (Julia), Antoinette Kellermann (Sonia), Dawie Malan (George), Kobus Strydom (David), Johan Botha (Charles). Decor designed by Dawie Malan, lighting by Hans Reinhardt.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into English (by André P. Brink?) with the title Elsewhere Fine and Warm. Text held by NELM (Collection: BRINK, André; P]: 2001. 34. 1. 14).
