(19**-) Artist, enormously talented costume designer and lecturer. Obtained a B.A (FA) from Michaelis School of Arts, University of Cape Town. Married Emile Aucamp, *** and joined him at the in Stellenbosch University Drama Department as Wardrobe mistress and lecturer in Costume, first on part-time basis and later full time. Over the years she costumed hundreds of student productions, designing, making and/or altering all the costumes with the help of her students. Also did a great deal of professional work over the years, e.g. on *** Retired in 1998.
