Ein Walzertraum ("A Waltz Dream") is an operetta by Oscar Strauss ()[], with a libretto by Felix Doerman ()[] and Leopold Jacobson ()[]


Based on the novella Nux, der Prinzgemahl ("Nux, the Prince Consort") by Hans Müller-Einigen, the operetta premiered on 2 March 1907 at the Carltheater in Vienna.

Translated and adapted into English as A Waltz Dream by Joseph W. Herbert (performed at the Chestnut Street Opera House in Philadelphia on 6 January 1908 and , at the Broadway Theatre on 27 January 1908. The London version (adapted by Basil Hood, with lyrics by Adrian Ross) opened on 28 March 1908 at the Hicks Theatre.
