Een Hedendaagsch Duel ("a contemporary duel") is a dramatic sketch by "Giuseppe"

The original text

The only reference to be found to a play of this name is the one in F.C.L. Bosman (1980). Since Bosman lists it as a "dramatiese skets" by a "Giuseppe", it is probably a Dutch burlesque version of Il Duello al Buio ("The duel in the dark") a melodrama in two acts with a Italian libretto by Giuseppe Checcherini (1777–1840)[1], which was published by Tipografia Flautina in 1835[2]
