In South Africa it was produced by Pieter Toerien by arrangement with Duncan C. Weldon, directed by Rex Garner, starring Michael Richard. Designed by Jannie Swanepoel. First performance in the Leonard Rayne Theatre 12 June 1985. The production then moved to the Baxter Theatre.
