Also known as The Earth Players, Earth Players is a company formed by Percy Mtwa and Mbongeni Ngema in May 1980.
Their first production was Woza Albert! in 1981.
Percy Mtwa wrote and directed Bopha which was a Market Theatre and Earth Players collaboration staged at The Laager in October 1985. ****
