ESAT is an academic research project, written by a handful of registered collaborators and some appointed assistant researchers, under the guidance of the Project Leader and the members of the ESAT Editorial Board.

To assist them, all researchers, artists and other interested parties are invited to help the editors and writers to expand, improve, update and correct ESAT on an ongoing basis.

Unfortunately, because of the academic nature of the project, the encyclopaedia cannot allow individuals to automatically register themselves as collaborators (the way Wikipedia does for example). All apppointments are made by the editorial board.
