E. Hartigan (fl. 1860s) was a British soldier stationed at Cape Town.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was both a member of, and between October 1866 and October 1867 the stage manager for, the 9th Regiment dramatic society, which performed in Cape Town for two seasons (1866-1867). He is also described as the "jester" of the company.
