SCHLENGEMANN, Ernst Allister (1904-1930). Afrikaans journalist, poet and playwright who died at the age of 26 years while working at a newspaper in Windhoek, South-West Africa. He was the author of the hugely popular Afrikaans farce Die Drie Van Der Walts ("The Three Van Der Walts")
