JOHNSON, Duncan. (19*-) Actor. *** Studied drama at the University of Stellenbosch. Winner of the Fleur du Cap Theatre Award for Most Promising Student in 1986. Joined the Breughel Theatre in Stellenbosch for a few seasons, notably playing the lead in their touring production of Asjas Passie (Dario Fo).
Played Nines in District Six – The Musical.
However he then quit the stage to go on to become a prominent continuity announcer for M.Net TV and later KykNet. ***
