Biography
Born and went to school in Johannesburg.
Training
Studied at Rhodes Universityand completed a BA in Drama and English, followed by an Honours degree in Drama in 2003. In 2004 he began work as a history teacher in Cape Town.
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He began writing plays when he was sixteen, and his plays include Hinterland (2008-2014) and Dream, Brother (2011).
Awards, etc
His first play received the 2011 Standard Bank Silver Ovation Award for Fringe Drama and his next one won three awards at the PANSA/NLDTF Festival of New Writing in 2012.
