Performance history in South Africa

Janice Honeyman directed Alfred Uhry’s Driving Miss Daisy in 1989 at the Market Theatre with Annabel Linder and John Kani.

Presented by the Baxter Theatre opening 24 June 1991. Direction by Keith Grenville, set and lighting design by Brian Collins, costumes by Ann Sharfman, stage manager Alan Barlow, sound David Cathcart. The cast were Brenda Wood as Daisy Werthan, Neville Thomas as Boolie Werthan and Sydney Chama as Hoke Coleburn.
