DramAidE (short for "Drama in AIDS Education") is an NPO established in 1992 by Professor Lynn Dalrymple as an outreach agency of the University of Zululand. The organisation makes use of researched drama methodologies to communicate effectively about issues relating to sex, sexuality and HIV/AIDS. The organisation has expanded and developed over the years and is currently delivering a number of ongoing programmes that reach campuses, schools and communities countrywide. DramAidE has developed models of ‘action media’ community campaigns that have been evaluated independently, and some programmes have been replicated nationally.

Aims & Objective: "Our main aim and objective is to use participatory drama and other interactive educational methodologies for HIV/AIDS, life-skills and sexuality-education. These methodologies are participatory, non-judgemental, culturally sensitive and accessible to all ages, levels of education and cultural backgrounds."
