(b. **/**/**** - d. **/**/****). Actress. Doris Greville took the part of the Queen opposite George Taylor in the title role in Isban Israel / The Buried City (1919), Joseph Albrecht’s film version of Isban, or The Mystery of the Great Zimbabwe, the novel by George H. Cossins. Little else is known about her, though in 1907 a Doris Greville appeared on the stage in the play “Veronique” at the King’s Theatre in Dundee and in 1909 a Miss D. Greville sailed on the SS Goth for South Africa. (FO)
