A one-man show by Eric Nobbs with material adapted from works by C.J. Langenhoven. Gives a hilarious portrayal of the trials and tribulations of life in a small town in 1930s South Africa, as seen through the eyes of Ou Stoffel Gieljam, the alter ego or "cousin" of Sagmoedige Neelsie (Langenhoven).

Premièred at the KKNK in 1995 and was performed subsequently in many venues all over South Africa. In February 2009 Nobbs performed it in the Breytenbach Theatre in celebration of his thirty years in theatre – in the same venue where he kicked off his career in 1978.
