Translated into Dutch as De Temperamenten by Barth Rekker, J. vander Stam Published Pieter Johannes Uylenbroek, 1797

Performance history in South Africa

1823: Produced in the Dutch translation by the amateur company Tot Nut en Vermaak on 2 August in the African Theatre, as afterpiece to De Militaire Stand (Arresto). According to Bosman, (1928:p.235) it appeared under the title De Listige Weduwe ("The devious widow").
