Die Markplein (“The marketplace”) is a play by W.A. de Klerk. A 4-act play about a powerful and egocentric man who returns from aborad to rediscover the value of the land.

A BAT production was presented by The Federasie van Rapportryerskorpse at the H.B. Thom Theatre on 25 September 1979 under the direction of Julie Maree.
