Die Magiese Kring ("the magic circle") is a collection of one-act plays compiled by Temple Hauptfleisch (1945-).

The original text

Intended for use by the senior Afrikaans courses at high schools, the collection of one-act plays was compiled by Temple Hauptfleisch, with commentary and notes by Herman Pretorius, and first published by Jutalit in 1991.

Besides an introduction by Temple Hauptfleisch and introductory notes on the stage and drama by Herman Pretorius the volume contains the following plays:
