1986: Directed by Francois Swart for PACT at the Alexander Theatre, Johannesburg and at the State Theatre, Pretoria. The cast: Louis van Niekerk (Ds Wessel Falk), Lida Meiring (Freda), Susan Danford (Hanta), Eric Nobbs (Lubbe), Eghard van der Hoven (Oom Theunie), Marie Pentz (Tannie Muriel), Jacques Loots (Joachim), Ben Kruger (Bouman), Gigi Strydom (Brenda Greyling), Ronel Kriel (Susie Greyling), Chris van Niekerk (Louis Duvenhage), Wynand le Roux (Offisier op grens), Peter Se-Puma (Moruti), Elijah Dlamini (Maurice). Gert van Niekerk and André Odendaal alternated in the roles of Loep and Young Man on the Border. Set design by Chris Pretorius.
