Diana Cox (19**-). Actress.

Biography

She was born in Johannesburg to British parents. Growing up she loved physical pursuits, such as swimming and gymnastics, and was passionate about animals. She was also an avid reader; devouring anything and everything from modern novels to Shakespeare.

When Diana completed school, she worked as a trainee designer for a soft furnishings company before switching careers and enrolling in a training course to become a professional actor. She attended the University of Cape Town for a drama course, and did some local stage work during the 1970s, before moving to the UK in 1980, where she forged a successful career in theatre, film and TV under the name Diana Kent.

Diana has performed in The Tempest, Death of a Salesman (PACT as Jenny, 1975), Conspiracy (PACT 1976, as 2nd reporter), Veronica's Room at Durban's New Lyric Theatre, Grease (1977) and in The Killing of Sister George (Baxter Theatre 1979).
