Der Advokat is a play in five acts ("Schauspiel in fünf Aufzügen") by Felix Philippi (1851-1921)[1].
Not to be confused with Die Advokaten (1801) by August Wilhelm Iffland.
Performed Weimar, Hoftheater, 1887-01-08 Published in Leipzig by Reclam, ca. 1885.
Probably the basic source for the melodrama Jim the Penman by Charles Lawrence Young (1839-1887)[2].
