Der öffentliche Ankläger ("The Public Prosecutor") is a 1948 play in three acts by Austrian playwright Fritz Hochwälder (1911- 1986) [1]. A look at the violence of the French Revolution and specifically the notorious prosecutor in the French revolutionary law court during the Revolution and Reign of Terror periods, Fouquier-Tinville [2].
