Bilingual festival established in 1975 by the then Department of Coloured Affairs.
House of Representatives One-Act Play Festival
In 19** placed under the aegis of the House of Representatives and renamed accordingly . Prizes were awarded for Best Group, Best Actor and Best Actress, and in 1982 a cash prize was added for writers of indigenous one-acters. **
