Death and the Maiden by Chilean playwright Ariel Dorfman. About a woman who takes revenge on her martelaar. Two English language productions up to now; Juliet Stevenson in the British production, Glen Close, Gene Hackman, Richard Dreyfuss in Broadway production.

Terry Norton 1992, Ramalao Makhene, Robert Whitehead, Market Theatre, Barney Simon invited by Dorfman to produce.
