De Zuid-Afrikaan was a nineteenth-century Dutch language newspaper based in Cape Town, founded by Christoffel Johan Brand on 9 April 1830. It was circulated throughout the Cape Colony, and published between 1830 and 1930.

It is a source of much cultural information.
