("The Case about the Water") by C.J. Langenhoven. A one-act comedy about language differences and legal squabbles about water rights. Written somewhere between 1906 and 1909, it his first piece for the stage. An expanded version of this piece became Die Wêreld die Draai (1912), later once more reworked as a full-length play, Die Laaste van die Takhare (1926).
