A Dutch play in three acts by Casper Vreedenberg.

The original text

Based on De Leiding der Ortenbergischen Familie on a novel in three parts by August von Kotzebue (1761–1819)[1], which had been published in Leipzig by Kummer in 1787, the Dutch stage version was published by A. Mars in Amsteldam, 1806.

Performance history in South Africa

1847: Performed once more by Tot Nut en Vermaak en Door Yver Vruchtbaar on 30th April, 1847, as an afterpiece to De Eerste April (Westerman).
