De Nachtmerrie (1829/1840) is a Dutch translation by by G. Vreedenberg of the German play Das Neue Sonntagskind, described as "Ein Komisches Singspiel In Zwei Aufzügen". (Published in Leipzig by A. Geers, 1794)

The German play was also translated Gosenwijn Christiaan de Greuve as and adapted as a musical under the title De Nachtmerrie (1829/1840)[1]
