Translated in 1778 and published in  Amsterdam by  Wed. P.J. Entrop, 1778. First performed in [[Dutch]] in the Amsterdamse Schouwburg ("Amsterdam Civic Theatre") on 14 April 1789. Termed a "krygspel" ("military play”, with scenes of military action) by the [[Dutch]] translator.
