De Bloemenkrans, of De Minnaar in den Boom is a one act comedy by Henricus van der Sprong.

The original text

According to the preface by the author (1836), it was first written in French as a vaudeville piece entitled Le Mariage à l'Houssarde, which was only done once, and was then reworked in a one act Dutch version (without music) for performance in 1836, and publication by Mensing en Van Westreenen, Rotterdam, 1836. He states that he also wrote a German version.
