De Bloedzuigers, of De Minnehandel in de Apotheek (lit. "The bloodsuckers, or the love trade in the pharmacy") is a Dutch musical comedy in one act by Arie Ruysch (1797-1871)[1]

The author's name often found as Arie Ruysch in later publications of the text and in South Africa.

First performed in the Koninklijken Schouwburg, at Den Haag, published in Amsterdam by J.C. van Kesteren, 1837

1873: Performed by Aurora II in the Oddfellows Hall, Cape Town, on 3 July, as an afterpiece to Het Vierde Huwelijk van Jacoba van Beijeren (Teengs) .
