Dawson Manning (19**-) Actor.

Biography

He came to South Africa from England at the end of 1963.

Career

He started his career, acting and producing, for the University Dramatic Society in Dublin. Subsequently ge appeared in various theatres in Dublin and Belfast and also toured for CEMA in Breath of Spring.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He has appeared on stage in PACT’s production of Hamlet and in The Reluctant Peer. He had a role in The Miser for PACT (1964) and in The Lower Depths (CAPAB 1965).
