David Graver is an American academic.

He obtained a Ph.D. in comparative literature from Cornell University in 1987 and has taught drama at Loyola University of Chicago,

He is the author of The Aesthetics of Disturbance: Anti-Art in Avant-Garde Drama (Ann Arbor: University of Michigan Press, 1995) and Drama for a New South Africa (Indiana University Press, 1999).
