David Eppel. (19**-). Actor, teacher, director.

Biography

He was married to Dinah Eppel.

Training

Studied at UCT Drama School.

Career

Worked with PACT and The Company.

He settled in the United States in 1983. He teaches acting, directing, dramatic literature, and directs departmental productions at Williams College [1].

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He appeared on stage in productions of Pity About People (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1974), And Green And Golden, Bedroom Farce, Cop-Out, East, Lysistrata, An Arabian Night, Ain't We Got Fun, Antigone (by Jean Anouilh), A Sunny Morning, Show Me Yours..., Kafka: The Trial, Holy Moses and All That Jazz, Six Characters in Search of an Author (1973).

One of the founder members of The Company.
