Das Neue Sonntagskind (lit: "The new Sunday's Child") is a two-act Austrian musical farce in German, described as "Ein Komisches Singspiel In Zwei Aufzügen", by Wenzel Müller (1767–1835)[1], with libretto by Joachim Perinet (1763-1816)[2], based on Der Furchtsame, a comedy in three acts by Philipp Hafner (1735 -1764)[3].
