First performed professionally as double bill with We Shall Sing for the Fatherland at the People’s Space (Cape Town), 1979, and co-directed by Rob Amato and Nomhle Nkonyeni. First published in S’Ketsh 1979, later the collection We Shall Sing for the Fatherland and Other Plays, Ravan Press, 1980. Also published in The Plays by Zakes Mda by Ravan.
