A play by American playwright Reinaldo Povod (1986).

The original text

The first production opened on Broadway in 1986, with Robert De Niro in the lead, for which Reinaldo Povod received the George Oppenheimer/Newsday Award (The Oppy). In 2009 the play received its Chicago premiere by the Urban Theater Company and People's Theater of Chicago. [1]

Performance history in South Africa

The first South African production was staged in the Youth Theatre at The Civic in July 1995, directed by Clare Stopford, with Danny Keogh, Adrian Alper, Len Sparrowhawk, Toni Caprari, Sophia Condaris and David Germond.
