Corporal Bishop (18**-18**) was a soldier and amateur comic actor, active in Cape Town in the 1850s.

He was a member of the Garrison Players in Cape Town and is specifically mentioned for a good performance as "Dr Budd" in St Cupid, or Dorothy's Fortune in the Garrison Theatre, done by Captain Hall's Company on Tuesday 2 May, 1854.
