Biography

Training

Corien studied at the University of Cape Town Drama Department in the early 1990s.

Career

She joined PACOFS in 1992.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She is best known for her role as Gretchen in the television serial Egoli: Place of Gold.

Appearances on stage includeMacbeth, 'n Lam vir die Pase, My Children!, My Africa!, The Ghost Sonata, It Runs in the Family, Curl Up and Dye.


Awards

She was nominated for Vita Awards as Best Actress for her roles in My Children!, My Africa! and the PACOFS production of Curl Up and Dye.
