Confusion is a dramatic sketch by Francis W. Moore.

The original text

Described by D.C. Boonzaier (1923) as a "perfectly constructed and intensely amusing farcical comedy",

Little information is available about both the author and the play. The only recorded American performance found was in 1904 in the Lakewood Theater, Lakewood, Maine.[1]

Performance history in South Africa

1887 Part of the repertoire of the Wheeler Theatre Company when they performed in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town during April and May. Generally well received, it featured the actor E.A. Elton in one of the leads.
