Colleen Craig is a Canadian playwright

Her mother is South African, and Colleen lived in South Africa during the 1980s, where she observed apartheid firsthand. In 1991 she moved back to Canada and settled in Toronto where she continued her career as a playwright.

Her award-winning play Crossing the Line is based on her South African sojourn.
