Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Appeared in Twelfth Night at the Market Theatre, 1998.

Autobiographical one-man show No Room for Squares with his father, saxophonist Bobby Merckel and his uncle, Henry Merckel, on keyboards, directed by Robert Colman (2000).

The role of Prince McTrev in MacBeki by Pieter-Dirk Uys (2009). Don't Look Away, two-hander with Esmeralda Bihl written and directed by Jerry Mofokeng (2011).
