He designed sets and/or costumes for productions such as The Good Woman of Setzuan (1965), Die Italiaanse Strooihoed (1966), Dokter teen Wil en Dank (1966), Die Laaste van die Takhare (TRUK (1968), The Mask and the Face (1967), Cyrano de Bergerac (1969), Twelfth Night (1969) and Twaalfde Nag (1975), The Devil's Disciple (1970), Ampie (1971), Elders Mooiweer en Warm (1971), Charley's Aunt (1973), Hedda Gabler (1974), Die Rebellie van Lafras Verwey (1975), 'n Seder val in Waterkloof (1975 and 1987), Conspiracy (1976), Anastasia (1977), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (1978), A Month in the Country (1979).
