In 1977 joined [[SWAPAC]] in Windhoek, later spent a year with [[PACOFS]] in Bloemfontein, before turning freelance. Performed as actor in  ''[[Die Vleiroos]]'' ([[Pieter-Dirk Uys]], 1992), ''[[Die Jogger]]'' ([[Brink]], 199*), ''[[Magspel]]''  ([[Deon Opperman|Opperman]], 200*), ***, ''[[Twaalfde Nag]]'' ([[Oude Libertas Theatre|Oude Libertas]]/[[Baxter Theatre|Baxter]]), 2005),  Became nationally know as one of the original cast members of the immensely popular Afrikaans TV-soap ''Sewende Laan'' since its inception. Over the years has also run a theatre-restaurant (*** in Muizenberg and  ** Bay) and a number of antiques shops in ** Bay and in Rosendal.*

Biography

Born in Pretoria on the 5th October, 1951.

Training

Studied at the Drama Department of the Unversity of Pretoria, obtaining a BA Hons in Drama. Neels Hansen was one of his lecturers.

Career

Nominated 2011 Fleur du Cap best actor Dinsdae by Morrie (Cape Times 7 February 2011).
