In 198* appointed as lecturer in movement at the [[Universiteit van Stellenbosch Drama Departement|University of Stellenbosch Department of Drama]]. Took study leave to study and work with Marcel Marceau in 1988. This was initally extended on a temporary basis, until he finally resigned to work in France and America on a permanent basis.
