Chris Fourie. (19**-) Actor, singer, designer and drama lecturer.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Some of his activities include the following: he adapted Abdoltjie for the stage; translated The Trial by Anthony Booth and From Five to Five-Thirty; wrote Sikulume se Verhaal, Blindemol and Pieter en die Wolf; starred in 'n Bruid in die Môre (NTO 1959), The Cave Dwellers (1959), Rashomon (1964/5), Charley se Tante (1965), Die Reënmaker (1965) and Die Hekse van Salem (1982); designed décor for The Children's Hour, My Liewe Meneer Malan and Aku Vang 'n Ster.

He performed in Festen in 2007 and Bartho Smit’s Die Keiser (2008).
