BUCHANAN, Chris (1962-) Actor

Biography

He was born in Cape Town in 1962. He studied Physical Education at Stellenbosch University where he performed in various of the Drama School productions. He completed his National Service as an officer in the Parachute Batallion.

Training

Career

He worked for CAPAB, Pieter Toerien and NAPAC productions.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

In Blithe Spirit, M. Butterfly, P.S. Your Cat is Dead!, When Did You Last See My Mother?, Sarcophagus, Measure for Measure, the AIDS play The Normal Heart, The Private Ear/The Public Eye (for NAPAC), Richard III (as Tyrrell).
